There's something fishy going on in Room 11

Today we watched a clip about the bottom of the sea.  We saw a fangtooth.  It's teeth were so big that it couldn't close its mouth!  Our topic for this term is the sea and we are all very excited to learn about what's down there.  This afternoon we drew some pictures about what we think might be at the bottom of the sea.

We have been getting ready to learn about things we can't see by practicing visualising in reading and descriptive language in writing.  We even learned how we can use 'greedy fish' in maths to say which number is bigger or smaller!

  2. Would Room 11 like to see how a fish is filleted? Oliver's Dad is a keen fishermen, and can show the children the insides of a fish...
Let us know if you would like to see.. just tell Oliver!
