5 Senses....

 

Today we have been learning to use our senses.  In writing we used our senses to describe a setting.  The setting is the place where the story happens.  So we chose to write about Parnell Baths and we visualised what we could see, hear, smell, feel and even taste!  In reading we imagined that we were in the story and tried to visualise what it would be like if we were in the story and what we might see, hear and feel. Even in fitness we used our sense of hearing to catch a bouncing ball with our eyes closed.

In maths today we learned how to measure length.  We learned how to measure between centimetres so we could measure a pencil that was 16.8cm long.
