Here in Room 11 we look forward to our Fridays. We find out how well we've learned our spellings, we get our homework checked and we get to see who the table of the week is. But Friday is also our time in the computer lab and we have been looking forward to creating another musical masterpiece on musiclab. So, in we scurried at 10am, already thinking about how we can layer our tunes, when to bring in the drums and if we really need 5 base guitars or will 1 be enough this time! However, it seems that even the greatest musicians are only as good as the machines they play on. In this case, the computers. Sadly, our machines decided to 'pack a sad' today and refused to do anything. We tried everything; pressing all the buttons at once, scratching our heads, moaning, even leaving the room in case they didn't like us. But nothing happened. I wonder if Bob M (Marley, not Miller) ever had these sorts of problems?
Anyway, on the subject of things being broken, Morgan broke a record today and set the highest total for pages recorded in his homework diary - a cool 1000 pages! This momentous effort earned 50 points for his table and won them the table trophy.
The bar has been set very high indeed!
