Today we were lucky enough to be visited by the Royal NZ Ballet company. They started off with a long warm up to stretch all their muscles. We were amazed by how far they could stretch!
Then they showed us some of the moves they can do, like pirouettes or jumping high. We found out that all of their moves are called French names because that's where ballet comes from.
Finally they did a short routine from their next performance, Cinderella. It was amazing. We liked the lovely costumes. We also loved how the characters moved in special ways to suit their personality. The grasshopper jumped lots and the silly stepsister kept on falling over.

In the afternoon we watched three more project presentations. Well done Xanthe, Kane and Oliver!
